Yes, our special little Emma was a visual artist & the inspiration for the addition of the art aspect within Emma's Run for the first time in 2008. Indeed, Emma's original works of art gave birth to the art created for our permanent logo & our very first of many original art silent auctions. And coming in 2009, our first annual Emma's Run poster will be available for purchase along with the raffle of the original work. We hope that everyone can appreciate art as much as our little Emma did and encourage those who cannot run (for some reason or other) to participate in helping children by taking part in our auction & future poster sales.
The artist chosen to represent our first year in art, Annie San Martin is handicapped & was more than happy to be chosen to participate in Emma's Run in a way that could help us raise money for more children & encourage the "non-runners" to participate. We hope you appreciate the efforts & join in on purchasing these highly collectable works of art & posters. We plan on being here to help the kids for a long time to come & hope you'll collect them all!!

Annie is a full time professional artist residing in South Florida for a grand total of 19 years. Latin musician husband, Rogelio San Martin & Annie lead quite a full & productive life in the Palm Beach area. Her love of the arts encapsules many disciplines to include ceramic sculpture, photography, drawing, acrylic painting, pastels, muralistic assemblage, web design, interior design & staging. Additionally, Annie is a Visual Art Educator & Gypsy Project Breeder of some of the world's rare & endangered chickens through San Martin Poultry.
