Emma's Run is a 5K Walk/Run & 10K Run in celebration of the life of Emma Addison Simpkins.
The Emma's Run Organization is dedicated to raising donations, building community, and the physical fitness of our children and adults.
All donations to the Emma's Run Organization go directly to help children's charities here in the "Valley of the Sun" and around the world through various charities.
Our Mission
Organization Profile
Each year in May, the Emma's Run Organization, a 501c-3 non-profit, gathers their Board of Directors in effort to begin planning stages for the next annual Emma's Run activities. Only a mere couple weeks after the last annual run, the work begins.
At this time, submitted charity organizations, having made application between June & December for consideration, are carefully reviewed. Four charity organizations are selected to be the recipients of donations collected throughout the year & up until the closing of the annual Emma's Run event. Emma's Run occurs, in general, on a weekend between the last 2 weeks of March & first 2 weeks of April. Each of the 4 charities chosen will receive exactly 1/4th of all proceeds collected via this website, entry fees from the run itself, sponsorships & other private donors. These collections are given in the form of a non-refundable grant to each of the 4 chosen charities.
Charities applying between the months of June through December, MUST benefit children directly or they will not be considered. A formal application is not currently required but in its stead, a request proposal containing your charity's status, annual reports (including budgets), Mission Statement, Organization Profile & as much information as possible on exactly where donations go & how they directly benefit children. Information on the representative we can contact directly is imperative so that contact can be made for further inquiry.
Any form of proper donation to Emma's Run, whether in-kind or monetary is accepted throughout the year via postal mail or this website & is not only graciously appreciated, but TAX DEDUCTIBLE too! We use the services of PayPal so that donations can be made safely, efficiently & securely using your credit or debit card or e-check.
Finance, Business & Industry are warmly welcomed & encouraged to help Emma's Run in any way preferred, either monetarily or in-kind. Corporate Sponsorships are accepted & available as either a full individual sponsor toward a preferred planned activity or any planned activity or as co-sponsor of an event. The benefits of Corporate Sponsorships are worth consideration & all it takes is making contact through any means preferred (below) to submit your proposal. We do ask that our Corporate Sponsors select a delegate(s) to serve on a committee.
Once again, ALL proceeds are donated to charities benefiting children & our Annual Report is posted on this website by July each year. Please don't hesitate to make contact with questions about anything in this Organizational Profile.

Donating & Volunteering
Emma's Run Organization receives donations all year round through a link to this website simply by clicking here. We also accept donations during the run & all year through by mailing the address below.
